Coating method of glass protective lubricant on the surface of titanium alloy forgings!

Before forging, titanium alloy forgings need to be coated with glass protective lubricant on the surface. The glass protective lubricant can play an anti-oxidation role in the heating and forging process of the forgings, and at the same time, it can reduce the friction resistance between the forgings and the die to play a role in lubrication. The glass protective lubricant mainly contains 5102, A12O3, B203 and other components, and generally uses water as the diluent. At present, the protective lubricant is sprayed by manual method. First, the forgings should be preheated to ensure that the paint does not flow during spraying. During spraying, the forgings on the workbench should be turned to ensure that the coating on all parts of the forgings is evenly adhered. The coating should also be dry after spraying. The production efficiency of manual spraying is very low, and the product quality is unstable, which is greatly affected by the operator's own skills. In addition, due to the high labor intensity of the operator and the direct contact with the coating, the harm of the coating to human body is increased, and the working environment is also polluted.

Apply water-based glass protective lubricant to the surface of titanium alloy forgings before forging and forming, which is characterized in that the titanium alloy forgings are placed on the electrostatic spraying production line for electrostatic spraying, and the process steps are as follows:

1. Hanging: hang titanium alloy forgings on the hanger on the conveyor chain;

2. Preheating: the preheating chamber temperature is 60~80 ℃, and the time for titanium alloy forgings to pass through the preheating chamber is 5~10 seconds;

3. Electrostatic spraying: spraying parameters: viscosity of glass protective lubricant coating: 14 - 17 seconds; The flow rate of glass protective lubricant coating is 150~200 ml/min; Rotating speed of spray disc: 7500~9000 rpm; Moving speed of spray tray: 15~25 m/min; Electrostatic voltage: 45~55 kV; Current: 40~50 μ A;

4. Leveling: the time for titanium alloy forgings to pass through the leveling chamber is 20~30 seconds;

5. Drying: the temperature of the drying chamber is 60~80 ℃, and the time for titanium alloy forgings to pass through the drying chamber is 10~15 minutes;

6. Unloading: remove the titanium alloy forgings from the hanger.
